This is awesome, BUT, the burrs on the inside of the metal frame are sharp and brutal. They were cutting into the dough every time once a little filling was added. A dremel tool and 10 minutes fixed it. Docking a star for the extra effort.

Remember to dust your sheet of dough and a little flour on the frame doesn't hurt either.

This ravioli make was very easy to use and made making ravioli easier and fun! I have tried making them by hand before and could never master a good seal to keep the filling in. My kids have an egg allergy, so to have ravioli, I need to make them from scratch. And we prefer homemade food anyway. I was really pleased with this product. The ravioli turned out perfect every time. Sometimes, depending on how thick I rolled out my dough, I couldn't get the ravioli cut completely apart, but they were easy to get out of the metal form and then cut with a knife as needed. Most of the time I didn't need a knife, they would rip apart nicely! I ended up making extra the first time I tried this because it went so well, and then froze some so we have them for in the future. Highly recommend purchasing this if you like homemade ravioli!

Struggled to get the ravioli out of this mold, even after heavily flouring the whole thing. Many plopped out deformed or the pasta was torn. Upon closer inspection I noticed that all of the holes had a lip on them where they were stamped out for the filling and many of those lips have sharp edges and jaggies that would grab onto the ravioli and tare the pasta. It could be an easy fix for them but as is I can't recommend this product to anyone who thinks this'll make making ravioli easier and more efficient.

I bought this as I needed to make enough ravioli for large party. I washed the metal cutter and the finish came off leaving a black grim on my hands when touching it. I tried to wash this off and after 45 min I was able to get 90% of it off..... I tried using it after this and it left dark marks where it cut making it useless. If you buy it DO NOT WASH IT!

For years I had always made my ravioli by hand. Every one of the ravioli I made was unique in size and shape. I was always disappointed as my husband loves them. So, I researched quite a few ravioli trays for many days before I decided on this Bellemain Large Ravioli Maker. My very first batch was a disaster as I used flour on the tray. I had viewed a few YouTube instructional videos from normal everyday people and found that oil works best for releasing the ravioli from the tray. I brush on a little olive oil directly on the tray before I lay the sheet of pasta on the tray. I have never had a tray before but this one was the perfect choice for me. I love the size, just a tad over 1-1/2" and most of it is filling, as opposed to pasta dough. They are all equal in size and shape. The tray has no flaws that I have noticed. The 3 "feet" on each side of the tray are good to prevent sagging in the middle when pressing it with the pastry roller (I already had a "pastry and pizza roller," and they have little rubber tabs to prevent scratching and slipping and sliding on the counter. The tray cuts the dough through-and-through. For this tray I use a 1-1/4" cookie scoop which scoops out the perfect amount for the cavities in the tray. I also bought one for my daughter-in-law and she is thrilled about it. I know I made the right choice with this item from Bellemaine...thank you.
