Worth the price, a few minor issues

You can't argue with the price point. For a 50 foot chiller, it would be difficult to make one yourself any cheaper. But there are some compromises. The bends look like they were done by hand; they're flattened which isn't going to allow the water to run through as smoothly. The bottom bend looks flattened enough that it might actually block the flow. If they used a proper tube bender I would have given it five stars. It comes unassembled, so you have to put the tubing and the hose adapter on when you receive it. Not a big deal, some people may even want to put a compression fitting on it anyways to avoid any leaks around the joints, rather than using the cheaper clamps that come with it. Other than the bends, this is definitely worth the price. A more expensive unit would have better bends, clamps, and hose; but this is certainly up to the task of what its meant for, at a low price point.
Makes chilling your wort super easy. Very cost efficient

This comes with everything you need for a very efficient wort chiller. It's made of similar materials you'd get yourself at home depot or local hardware store, but adding up all the cost of the 50' of copper pipe, the price would come out roughly the same here. It also comes with 12 ft of plastic tubing to split for the inlet to the hose and outlet and the necessary fittings.
This should be the first thing a beginning home brewer should get to take their setup to the next level. It takes the time of chilling from an ice bath of a couple hours to about 15 minutes to get from 200 to 75 degrees F. The coils aren't perfect, it's a little crooked, and looks very similar to if I were to try to make it myself, but it does the job.

Extremely efficient wort chiller

This thing is designed quite well to chill off that boiling hot wort that just consumed 1.5-2 hours of your Saturday afternoon. The beauty of this device is that it decreases the amount of time that it takes to chill the wort by 3x-4x; it usually took over an hour in the ice bath in my sink to chill 5 gallons of boiling beery goodness to a yeast-friendly 75 degrees. My first attempt using this device cut that time to 14 minutes.
The chiller itself is well designed and was well packaged for shipping, though as one would expect, there were the old knick and scratch of the soft copper, presumably from shipping. I scrubbed mine well before the first use and, as the instructions say, be sure to use something to remove the oils from manufacturing.
The hardest part about this chiller is getting the tubing provided to fit onto the chiller and the garden hose nozzles. I had to use a pair of needle-nose pliers to stretch the opening of the tubing, after soaking in boiling water to soften the tubing enough to force it onto the chiller and nozzle. Once sufficiently in place, though, I clamped all the tubing down and I did not have any leaks on my first use.
Protip: have a plan for the water that comes out of the other end. I just let mine run down into the street, but the closet environmentalist in me said I should use it for watering plants or filling the washing machine or something. Whatever, I'll hug a tree next time.
With the size of this chiller, it should make short work of cooling off any boiling brew kettle 10" or greater in diameter. Time will vary, of course, with the temperature of the water that comes from your garden spout.

ok this unit arrived about 2 days after I ordered it, it was packaged very well, I was wanting the stainless steel version because I thought it would hold up much better, after I read a few things on the net I discovered that Copper actually dissipates heat better than stainless, so I got this AFTER I read copper has gone up about 40 percent lately and I didnt want to wait any longer. So far I soaked it in a vinegar solution with water to get all the goo off of it and plopped it down in the keg with boiling wart, this sanitized it, the wort was cooled to about 70 within 9 minutes this may be because I have well water and its very cold. If you are wanting to make beer on a regular basis and you have a large brew pot just get the 50 ft version, its only about 20 dollars more (at this time) and it will cool your wart that much faster and you can brew 5 gallons or 10 gallons.
bottom line copper is getting freaking expensive, if you are going to get a wort chiller made of copper get it soon and get the most you can afford, dont wait today is march 4 and oil was at 105 so its just going to get more expensive and you can make cheep beer, so it will pay for its self the sooner you buy it and use it.
as they say in the brew community, "Cheers!"

First off: I know I took a risk buying an item with no rating.
But man did it pay off!
I just got into brewing beer and I know that wort chillers save you a lot of time. Copper wort chillers are the most popular but I knew stainless steel would work well too because that's what my pot is made out of. I hooked this up and ran water through it for 20 mins to be sure everything worked. No leaks, no grim.
Pros: This particular chiller cost me $60 bucks including shipping so price was one of the best parts about it. The stainless steel looks sharp and I can't see it going green like copper. I know that dropping it in boiling water gets out all the germs anyway but I like my stuff looking good too. Also, assembly was super easy! Had it together in 5 mins! The hose is cut to fit whatever length you want. I your not willing to do the minor assembly required for the equipment or can't figure it out, this sort of thing most likely is not your gig.
Cons: I really just came up with this one but my kitchen sink isn't industrial and I had to go buy an adapter. Would have been nice if it came with one for household sinks for guys like me.
This chiller was exactly what I was looking for and will last me a lifetime I am sure.
