Excellent budget headset

Great entry-level headset. I bought these to get back into general aviation after flying helicopters for the last several years.
Pros:
-The sound quality is actually significantly better than the headset in my helmet at work, very clear
-Microphone is very clear as well.
-Volume knob on the headset is very convenient for making adjustments without affecting the sound for everyone else in the plane.
Cons:
-The ear cups are a little stiff. If you wear sunglasses with this headset, they will dig into the side of your head.
Overall a very decent headset all around and at around 90 bucks, they're a screaming deal.

The sound quality is very good, the passive noise isolation is excellent, they are a very quiet headset. The aux sound input is amazing sound quality. The material is rather durable and they feel like they should last for a very long time. I would buy this headset if I was a student pilot on a budget or not sure if I would finish, or as a second headset for passengers. They are a bit heavy for long flights. The metal microphone bracket is a bit hard to adjust for passengers, which sort of defeats the point of the passenger headset. I have no doubt the next step up KORE with the flexible microphone is worth the extra. Note to student pilots, you are just getting started and have a long career ahead of you, you may want to splurge and buy a headset for yourself that will last you for years to come.
Definitely a great headset for starting out or even for passengers but ...

It's exactly what I paid for. I think they sit too tight on my head though, they make my ears hurt, and I have a small head! I've done all of the adjusting I can do. Definitely a great headset for starting out or even for passengers but I will absolutely be investing in something more expensive when I have my license.

These are amazing. The headset works great, very clear and really comfortable. What surprised me the most was how good their customer service is... I lost a retaining nut from my headset, it was my fault and not an issue with the design. I contacted the company and they mailed me out a replacement at no cost.
