I put 2 of these together for whole house water filtration.
The water goes through the sediment filter then the carbon block filter.
I change them every 3 months.
I am amazed at how much rust and other contaminants are in the water....yuck!! Lastly I pour the tap water through a Brita pitcher for better taste.

I replaced a broken filter housing with the Hydronix HF2-10CLWH14 10" clear housing, and it's been awesome.
