Works great, only auto valve that would work with my rain barrel
Disappointed in Programming Setup and Features
KPB or RABSeptember 28, 2017
Even after reading setup and the few examples, I still don't understand how to set the two control dials to operate on the frequency and duration I need. Setup of the 2 control dials seems completely opposite all the other water timers I've used! I wish it had a clock start time, as every time I try to set it, it wants to come on immediately, wetting me all over. However, when set (and as I've said, I could be setting it up wrong), it doesn't come on for days, while my plants suffer. I read something about manual mode, but don't see any buttons or dials for this! The brief instructions that came with it are not thorough enough. Is there any way to set without water coming on immediately? Also, the rain contacts sensor is not very useful, as most faucets are located under the eave/overhang on most houses, so it won't get wet unless it's a "driving" rain, or you move the water timer out from under the eave of your house with an extension hose and stake/support of some kind. I would send this back if I could find another brand that programs more like a conventional water timer (min. press. req'd), and with a clock and manual mode, even if it didn't have solar and rain sensor!
Don't buy it

Never could get it to work, and since I travel a lot I missed Amazon's 30 day return window so I am stuck with this expensive piece of junk.
Two Stars

the stopper hole inside is too narrow to allow a lot of water to come through,
