I saw that this was supposedly a splint that could help correct a tailor'sb union (or at least help straighten the toe a bit). What I received was an extremely soft, pliable bunion cushion pad. I don't have any pain and don't need a cushion. I wish this had been an actual splint or at least firmer to help hold my toe in place. I would not have purchased this if it had not been described as a splint.

I have been using the disposable Dr. Scholls bunion cushions for my tailor's bunions but they are expensive and only last 3-4 days even with careful application and removal. So I was excited to try these. But the inside edge (between baby and first toe) is so wide that it hurt, so I cannot use them. I'm female. These might work for someone with more widespread toes/

Stays in place, been wearing just about evday since I received them & I can tell it's helping re-align my toes - I do notice that when I don't wear them for a few days, my toe starts to revert back to the overlap.
