Installed on a 25 HP Mercury outboard. Worked great for about 3 hours of use. Then the display froze on 1250 rpm. Contacted amazon, and recieved a refund, and I ordered a replacement from SEARON. Amazon picked up the tab on overnight shipping. I installed the the replacement hour merer / tachometer. This one lasted about 3 MINUTES! The display just went blank.

Works great! make sure you keep the package as it has all the complicated resetting instructions. It does not have a removable battery, not sure if it charges from the spark plug or what. I secured it to my 4 stroke dirt bike with some E-Z Pass mounting velcro (works very well) which won't break the device if it gets hit in a crash. Overall nice and rugged quality.

I got this to tune different small engines. So far it is workimg fine. The bad is that it stays on. Other issue is its plastic so it would be nice to have a protected type cage for it so it don't melt. I made a angled wood block to mount it to so i can set it on a machine or the ground and not damage it. A brighter display would be a bonus. Overall good product and came packaged good.
