So far we love it. We have not been using it very harshly; mainly for abs and some curls (sitting on it.) We are low to mid-weight, but this bench seems to be sturdy and firm on the ground! The price was right too and it has several settings. It could use more padding on the part you put your feet on to do sit-ups. We have improvised and added a loose pad to each foot as we work out, but eventually we'll need to find a way to - permanently, wrap something around it. Other than that, it is worth your money and it loos very nice too!

I purchased this bench a while ago when it was half the price it is now; at the current price I would take a long look at the Body-Solid unit. It is a very high quality bench and I haven't had any issues with the comfort like other reviewers have. I like that this bench has a longer back cushion compared to the Body-Solid unit. I'm 6'2" and I wouldn't want the back cushion to be any shorter. The welds are a little sloppy but it has been holding up to heavy weights really well. When I first received the bench I noticed that the seat was coming apart at the seams so I contacted the warranty department and they promptly sent me a new seat. So, quality control gets a C- but customer service gets an A.

I can't say enough about this bench. Very, very sturdy. When using it, it never feels like it's giving way and never feels in the least bit flimsy. A cinch to assemble. Easy to fold up and store. When folded, it doesn't even need to be leaned against a wall, it stands freely on its own. Very simply, its a well-designed, well-built piece of gear.

Received this yesterday. Very easy to unbox and put together. Great, simple instructions. Heck, they even include a couple of wrenches to put it together with (no other tools needed). The parts are labelled according to which step you need each in. Can't get much simpler! Good, sturdy bench for the price. Solid, no frills. Didn't 'WOW' me but I would buy this again if I needed another bench.
