Great device. works well. Do not waste your tie on cheaper brands. I did and after far too many hours of messing with it - i discover it had HUG compatibility issues - NOT THIS ONE. it works well with my PC, docking stations . and notebooks

The construction of the item is solid, the hardware works very well there are only two issues that I can see right now one is that the driver included is very old and doesn't work properly in Windows 10 you have to go to the hardware maker to get the latest drivers. The other one is is that when you turn on the ext monitor the computer slow down for a couple of seconds until the driver is loaded to turn on the monitor. Other than that everything is working well so far
instructions are vague but support was good.

comes with a cd and 2 small half page of incomplete instructions. The way to get help is to send an email to support and wait and wait and wait. frustrating. Support was very good, sent me a download link to the drivers I needed and once installed the product works as advertised. Very good.

Tried for 2560x1600 monitor with an old VAIO Centrino-based laptop (vista upgraded to WIn7) USB2x, and it just worked.with no messing around. Nice. This was a short test, but it did not seem unresponsive for normal editing, photo viewing, etc. Did not attempt games or streaming video, having to need for that.

I want to report that this works perfectly if you dont already have one of there 3.0 usb 3.0 hubs its worth getting one i got there 10 port hub with this and i cant say anything but perfect. I am using LG ultra wide monitors 21:9 ratio 2560 x 1080 at 60hz and it displays just as well as the native hdmi on my laptop (which i will be getting anothero ne of these so i can plugin 1 usb 3.0 and have both monitors work. Please note that you will need to download the drivers for this to work and you will need to restart your computer. with out a restart the windows detects the monitor and its size but does not send any video data.
