I liked these but we didn't see any instructions on the boxes and put them in the dishwasher. Immediately looked tarnished and will not come off. Not even with silver cleaner. Nice cups but do NOT put them in the dishwasher. The site said it is posted but you'd have to be looking for it to find it. I have silver/pewter mugs like this and we've had no problem with those so buyer beware. Again, nice mugs, just handle them properly.

it came with a big dent in the base. also after a week or two of use the silver is flaking off on some exterior areas. the silver has completely flaked off the interior, revealing the copper beneath. copper (or something) smells funny

Absolutely beautiful; I ordered it as a gift for my father to go with the family stein, so I can't wait to see his reaction. I showed my mother, and she loved it. It's very well made, has a beautiful etched motif, and is good and sturdy. I think it would make a fine edition to any collection, or it's a great piece if you're just starting. I would definitely order another.
