This is a much thinner but still cushier cushion for my sit bone. I use this for short rows at 3000 meters and below, while I use the thick 2" memory foam cushion for the endurance rows over 3000 meters. I have no qualms with this product outside of it gives me limited relief. It works as designed adding more padding where it counts.

It's decent. I didn't want too much padding as I didn't want to change the position too much, i.e. I didn't want to sit too much higher. I rowed 30 minutes with this on for the first time and it was definitely a huge improvement on the bare seat.

4 stars for functionality, 1 star for a used product sent in a new bag. It even had white stains where something spilled on it during use and dusty scuffs from maybe being dropped on the floor. There was even a slight indentation where it had been compressed against the rowing seat through at least several uses.
Am I squeamish? Not so much, just cleaned it instead of sending it back but come on, couldn't the seller have done that? Stains were not slight, could see them through bag. Should you buy one? Absolutely, works great, comfortable, doesn't slip, non-obtrusive in use. Maybe it could be a tiny bit thicker as I am concerned it will compress over time. But for the cost I would just buy a new one.

Love this cushion. If you row a lot, this is an amazing cushion. No, it's not that thick but you do not want a thick cushion. I've used thick cushions (when I was new to rowing) and thick causes friction and bunching and still irritates you. This pad is perfect. I row up to 70K meters a week and have never had an issue with my bum since I've gotten it. Got my wife one too. I've read the one star ratings (because I couldn't comprehend them honestly). Those one star reviews are all saying it's not thick enough. These are people that obviously are either new to rowing or don't row very much.

Very pleased with this pad. before I was using a doubled over kayak gel seat cushion and thought this might not be as comfortable. I was happily wrong. I normally do a 30 minute row and experience no discomfort with this pad.
