I (intentionally) bought a "scratch and ding" returned model to save a little money. The problem which caused the return from the original buyer? They had cross threaded one of the poles, which resulted in it being unable to screw all the way down, and being off axis by about 10-15 degrees. A simple visit from Mr. Channellock later, I had reversed the offending screw out and set it right.
I must say, it looks good in my vocal booth. I'm very happy, and loved that I saved about 33% off new price for such an easy fix.

Inexpensive way to light a dark corner

Needed some uplighting and this worked. Because it is in a laundry room, I wasn't too concerned with looks and it certainly is inexpensive enough. The shade, however, is made of very, very thin plastic even though it looks thicker in the photo. Even the stand is a bit thinner than I anticipated. It fits nicely in the corner and provides the light I need.
