Works as promised, with one small issue though.

Works well with my Monoprice Select mini V1 printer, so I don't have to constantly insert and remove the mini SD card from the printer. I'm not sure if it's my printer or this extension, but after every print, when I go to read the memory card again, it says that there is no memory card inserted, and I have to physically remove the SD card and reinsert it, and then it recognizes it. Since it didn't do this with JUST the micro SD card, I'm assuming it's caused by the adapter. Other than that it works as promised though!
Extender-adapter makes swapping out Micro SD cards easy

I wanted one of these but didn't know it the product was available It's so much easier to plug in micro SDs to the extension jack than on many small audio devices. I haven't tried it in a camera as the plug end would get in the way of any closing covers. It's more useful for audio or micro SD jacks on things like portable MP3 players or tablets where you want to swap out cards easily. I really like how you can adapt a full size SD to a micro slot to access files. The ribbon cable seems fragile but it has held up well enough, very flexible, about 18 inches long.
Great for Monoprice Mini

Works great! Printed a bracket on Thingiverse and mounted this to the side of my Monoprice Select Mini. Much nicer than having to keep swapping the Micro SD card in and out of its adapter to plug into my laptop. Ran the ribbon cable under the chassis and plugged into the Micro SD port on the side.
Nicely made, meets my need.

I needed these for a work project quickly, so Amazon saved the day there. These do what they say they do, and the SD slots on them seem fairly robust. I like that they're push-push (meaning push to insert, push to eject). There are just two things I don't like about them, and they're mostly nitpicks:
1) The cable is a bit long for my needs. And by a bit, I mean WAY too long. I could've probably been OK with a 1 foot cable.
2) The microSD connector side is a bit heavy, so it doesn't always want to stay in. I've only used it with microSD slots that don't really latch (i.e. aren't push-push), so maybe some connectors are better than others for this. Also, if they made the cable shorter (see #1), it'd probably make this problem worse, so I guess for that, I'm thankful for the longer length of cable.
These really have saved me loads of time and effort, as the device I'm using them on has a microSD slot that is very inaccessible and requires very small sized cards (i.e. I cracked one open, and it was nice to see decoupling caps and a nicely soldered PCB inside the SD card socket. It seems quite nicely built overall, so I'm pleased to use it.
Another works great for my MPSM...

Works great for my Monoprice Select Mini. The cable is long enough that I was able to go under the printer and mounted it on the other side, with a 3D printed mount from Thingiverse. The only issue is that I am not sure I can plug anything into the USB port, as i think this now blocks it. Maybe a right angle micro USB?? But that is a design issue with the MPSM, not this cable. As I'm not using the USB port, it's not an issue for me.. I MUCH prefer using SD cards over the uSD, which are just too small for frequent use...
