4 stars because this thing works better than drain-o or liquid plumber for unclogging drains that are clogged with hair. I could probably throw buckets off the other stuff down the drain and it would never even get close to unclogging a drain as quickly or as effectively.

Minus one star because this thing will make your house smell like rotton eggs! No joke, I was gagging! Open all the windows, have all your fans going and light all the scented candles, no joke this smells FOUL. But it got my drain unclogged after multiple days with multiple bottles of draino and trying to snake the drain when my landlord wouldn't do anything about the slow drain so "¦ just make sure you have good ventilation when using!

After repeated plunging I really thought I was going to née a plumber. Followed directions and had similar success as others who have said that it didn't flush the next morning but only required a quick plunge and the toilet opened right up.

Amazing! Had solids that wouldn't go down - the opening was completely blocked so I poured an entire tube on then waited overnight. The next morning I flushed and everything went down without an issue. This was in a small power room with no ventilation with the door open and it was hard to breathe or get away from the smell when pouring the powder in so be aware. I think this product could easily knock you out if exposed too long. Next time I will wear a mask before using. In this scenario I don't know what I would have done without this product. Normally when a toilet plugs you can use a plunger and get some progress but in this scenario I lost nearly all my water and was just left with solids blocking the hole and the product just took care of it. Highly recommend- just be careful to not inhale or touch.

This stuff is amazing! I promptly used it as soon as it arrived and my tub is now draining better than ever!!! I couldn't get the whole packet down the drain, so there was a little bit left in the packet. I followed directions and let it sit 30 minutes, flushed with boiling water, and it was still kind of slow. I then used the tool and pulled out a wad of hair (eewww), heard a noise in the drain, and the water went down immediately. I decided to pour the rest of the packet down the drain just to be sure it was cleared, let it sit 30 minutes again, and flushed with hot water. I was amazed. Water has always pooled a bit by the drain when I ran the faucet but now it is draining without pooling. I have never had this kind of result with Drano or Liquid Plumber, and this is so much safer to use. There is no smell at all. It's quick and easy, and I recommend it 100%.

I had low expectations for this as most of these drain chems don't work. I WAS WRONG!!!!
Finally a product that does what it is intended to do.
I had a 95% clogged drain in the bathroom sink. If you ran the water, the sink would start to fill up with water and when you shut the water off, it would take about 3 to 5 min for the water to empty. So it wasn't a complete blockage, but blocked none the less.
I followed the directions as stated, poured the powder down the drain and added 2 cups of hot water and let it sit for 30 min.
After 30 min, I went and closed the sink drain plug and filled the sink with hot water. I wanted to create enough gravity flow as I can.
I released the drain and it the water started going down....Not at full drainage yet though. I used the tool that this came with and put it in the drain. With very little effort, it was enough to push the clog through the p-trap and the water drained with such speed I had forgotten how quickly the water was supposed to go down the drain.

I had a slight blockage in the kitchen sink. Same usage and same great result. This one wasn't as bad, the water was still draining but it was slow. After the use of this stuff, again, I was reminded of how its actually supposed to drain.

Just one thing, be careful of the slight odor/gas that is produced when the stuff foams up when water is mixed with it. I had to back up from the sink for a second to let it dissipate when I first poured the water in with the powder. The warning is on the package, just heed it.

I give this product 5 stars and will purchase it again if ever needed.
