Good Value Product
Split Pea•August 1, 2018
This scope mount has worked flawlessly for me. It is currently mounted on an HK P30, and provides a rigid foundation for the red dot sight attached to it. ( Be careful not to lose the very tiny screws which attach it to the handgun's rail mount. ) While the screws work well, I have seen other mounts that use a rail button rather than screws. The screws may leave a nearly microscopic mark on your pistol; but the button type can cost significantly more. Also, initially, I was concerned that the frame for this mount might prevent fired rounds from properly ejecting. That proved not to be the case, and this product offers no hindrance whatsoever. One last item. At least on my HK, this frame sits just high enough above the receiver, that I can co-witness my gun's regular sights, should the red dot ever malfunction. So far, for the price, this has been a very good value.
Simple and easy

It doesn't fit my SW40VE like I was hoping it would, but that pistol requires a special mount as it has a proprietary rail system that Smith & Wesson designed, oddly enough just for that line of pistols. I moved it to an FNX 45 and it works like a charm. A flashlight is mounted on the bottom and a holographic sight on top just increases the fun!
Came with no bolts screws nothing.

Finally got this thing out to mount to my new colt 1911 22lr and this came with no hardware. No nuts bolts screws or anything...i came back to Amazon to see how it attached, and i see hardware... great. I love throwing 15$ out the window.
Not recommended Firearms other than BB guns

Recommended for Airsoft applications only it does not tighten down on your Weaver rail, rather set screws on either side tensions you're weapon's rail which flexes out dismount and if you're not watching it & will put it off center at the top off of your sites. Then you'll go to loosen some screws and put some screws back in Allen screws and you'll find that they're stripped out they can only be used once they're so cheap. Plus the Phillips screws that screw in the side Weaver rails rails whatever they are all but one of them stripped out before I felt any resistance indicating that any were tight. Having said that I am able to use it with a site stable so on a BB pistol.
if this wasn't being advertiese for real firearms then i would give it more starts, but it is claiming to be of a quality that is suitable for fireamrs when it is not, so I use it for what itis good for but I will not say I like it by giving it more stars.
Update: the allen screws are fine, They jsut send with it either a cheap allen wrench that strips off on the first allen screw or it is slightly the wrong size. Soince first leaving this review i've used my own allen wrench to tighten and loosen the allen screws!

You don't get what you don't pay for
Ascending Heart•October 11, 2017
Paying more for something doesn't mean you'll get quality but paying less for something you can count low quality. To start with the side mounts (on the one I received) are unstable allowing the laser to move. Best fix, a few drops of five minute epoxy to fill in the gaps while assembling it, Secondly the set screw holes meant to hold this in place are not threaded and the set screws are not self-tapping. Three ways to deal with this, force it, toss it or thread the holes if you have what it takes to do that. (lucky for me I do have taps and set screws)
Beyond this it's a great mount for a CO2 pistol and that's all. Putting this on a quality hand gun is like fixing a Mercedes with duct tape and bailing wire.
