Good general purpose knife

This is a very good all-purpose kitchen knife. It is light weight but very sharp. It's just the right size for cutting pretty much everything from meat, vegetables to fruits. I have not tried to cut anything with bones yet, but I imagine that will require a more heavy duty knife.

Great price for a reason

Bought less than six months ago because of the great reviews and low price. Since then we've used it pretty regularly, maybe a few times every week. Just noticed that the handle has cracked and split. We don't have a dishwasher, so it's always been washed by hand and left to dry on the drying rack whenever we use it. Disappointed that it didn't last very long when it specifically states the handle is designed from a durable wood.
It rattles and throws off my balance.
