The knife came beautifully packaged, and sharp from the factory, although in my opinion it could be much sharper; but I can take care of that part myself. The knife is well balanced and proportioned for finger gripping on the the back of the blade for precise cuts, and the full tang means I will never have to worry about the handle breaking if I need to put pressure on the knife to cut through thick veggies. If I had to make one complaint, it would be that since I am right handed; I never get to appreciate the "nice" side of the knife while it is in use, and while I know that's a minor thing...it still bothers me slightly.

This is great a knife. All of knives I bought in the past came in a set with wooden place holder. I wanted to buy something nicer and this knife is definitely the kind of knife I was looking. It's got a nice weight to it. Much different from what I'm used to. The handle feels premium and the metal blade feels like high quality metal. I did some cooking with it and this thing is sharp. It sliced and cut all my meats and veggies like butter. I felt like the real chef working with this.

I am very impressed with this knife. We used it this Easter for our ham. It cut through it like butter. This chef knife is very sharp. I did not think it would cut that well but it did great. The blade is even and it fits nicely in your hand. Wonderful addition to any kitchen. I looked at a few others before deciding to get this one as most of my kitchen knives have dulled or rusted. I thought this would be nice and sharp from the reviews I read and I was not disappointed. Great knife for the price.

This is one sweet knife. I have been using it for a while now, and it has retained its super sharp edge throughout. It feels like it is the perfect weight for cutting food and it feels good in my hand, too. Definitely a bargain at this price point.

Sharp knives is a must in my kitchen. I love how this one easily slices vegetables(especially tomatoes) and then also slices through my thick meats. I was able to thinly slice my corned brisket over the weekend.... my other knives couldn't do that!!
