This has to be the best writing fountain pen I have used. It writes very smoothly with no scratchy feedback. Just using a cheap legal pad this pen writes great on the paper with very little ghosting.

These are the best pens made. Exclusively used them while in the Navy, and while in EMS. Nothing feels as nice, nothing writes as nice, nothing lasts as long as these Parker pens. Can't go wrong with these, and I'm pretty sure you'll dig '!em

Classic Parker Jotter, it's a work horse of a pen, I just got this new one because I want to stop using disposable pens and have always liked the Jotter shape, feel and "click." Mine was labeled France.

I became interested in fountain pens for quite some time, but what prevented me from buying fountain pens were the price. Whenever I think of fountain pens, I tend to think that the more expensive the fountain pen is, higher the quality, durability the pen is. I decided to try the Parker Jotter as it was more cheaper, I bought black ink refills along with the pen itself (the pens have a cartridge instead of a converter). The pen has a nice weight to it, it is easy to hold, and writes very smooth. There were some moments where when I tried to use the fountain pen, the ink would not flow. I managed to get the ink flowing by tapping the cartridge or wiping the nib. As a left handed individual, the ink does not try as quick compared to gel pens, such as the Pilot G-2, so do expect smudging. Overall, I recommend this fountain pen to those who do not want to spend too much on a fountain pen and/or are beginners to using fountain pens. I definitely will look at Parker's other model pens as well as looking forward to learning how to use their converters.
