My wife (Natalie) bought this to replace a broken screen on her iPhone. I would give this 4.9 stars if I could. Most everything went well and the screen itself is excellent. A few observations though. The phillips screwdriver stripped itself on one of the thermal plate screws. I thought it was the screw but turns out it was the screwdriver head. Probably good to have a backup screwdriver (I did) or be very careful and make sure the driver head is seated and carefully apply torque while backing the screws out. All of them have what looks like a blue Loctite-like substance on the threads so can be a bit stubborn to get started. VERY IMPORTANT: When reassembling the front-facing camera make sure to flatten the other three flex cables outside the phone, place the camera cable on top of the others, and then fold them all back inside the phone. If you don't do this correctly, the cables won't make sense when you try to plug them back in. Trust me, this made me nuts trying to figure out what was wrong. Neither the instructions or any of the videos I watched mention this. The adhesive on the home button flex cable was very difficult to loosen, even with heat applied. I may have damaged the cable because the button does not work correctly now. It works in some ways, for instance, the touch ID function works, but the button won't get you to the home screen any longer. So we had to use an accessibility work-around for now while we decide whether to replace the button or not. From what I have seen online, replacing the button negates the touch ID, regardless of what the product description lists, because each OEM button is paired with each individual motherboard. I would recommend this. Keith

It came with all tools and parts neatly packed and protected for shipping. The screen is very high quality and it fit the phone nicely.

The kit included a magnetic mat to hold all the screws durring the repair. That was very nice and awesome for those who don't do these repairs often to have similar methods to keep organized during repairs. The screwdriver is great and had both drivers needed to complete the installation. I believe there was documentation on the installation itself but I didn't look over it as I have experience doing these repairs, therefore I cannot comment on if they are detailed or not. It also included a screen protector and cleaning wipes to finish off the installation.

From a semi-professional cell phone repair tech, I would definitely purchase this kit for my clients again, and I would recommend that this kit be used by beginner or first time techs. It includes everything needed to complete the installation.

I would give it 6 stars if I can. It comes with all the tools necessary. Along with a magnetic screw holder so you can leave all the screws in the place where they should go back on the phone. The instruction book is especially well written and done. With a lot of "attention" points to avoid you from making common mistakes. I was careful and slow. It took about an hour. Just don't force anything and follow each step carefully. Sometimes you have to really think about the step and understand the picture. I think the most important thing was to use a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive near the home button cable which was hard to get off. But don't force anything, don't pull hard on anything. Take your time. I was extremely satisfied.

the lcd went haywire on my phone and i decided to buy this replacement kit instead of overpay someone to fix it.They give you plenty of tools to get it fixed in the kit. 4 stars instead of 5 because the Phillips head screwdriver tool wasnt as fitting for the screws as well as it should have been. I ended up using a different very small Phillips which worked way better and made it easier to remove the several screws contained in the phone for the replacement process. As far as the replacement screen itself- it works great and that is why you should buy this kit if you own an iPhone 6 that needs a new screen.

The kit was great! It even came with a nifty little magnet to keep all the tiny screws organized. My main complaints are that the battery life with the new screen is severely effected (which is to be expected) and also the instruction book could be a little bit larger so the images are easier to see. A bit of advice; first, maybe lay off the coffee for a few hours as you will need a steady hand, second, when reassembling the screen and plugging in the ribbon cables make sure you take EVERY precaution to assure this is done correctly and gently. Plan the layout ahead of time (watching a video might help more than the booklet) and be ever so careful when handling the ribbons themselves as they are beyond fragile. I pretty much ruined my home button cable during this process. On the bright side after suffering through the process you will be a ninja at dealing with the tiny screws.
