Great for large Maps

My husband and grandson both that large celestial and lunar maps that they use for astronomy. These are quite large and can be hard to store. The Storage tubes are the answer.

I spent a lot of time trying to find a quality drafting/document tube that was > 4". Most are very cheaply made and this was the most promising product. Unfortunately, the reviews suggest that many people got the wrong product; I decided it was worth the risk and placed an order. I was fortunate to have received the right product and am very pleased. I am using this item to store large architectural plans and this is perfect. If this item gets back in stock then I would suggest you order one because the price/quality is better than most of the other tubes that I've looked at.

- Longer than I would prefer but that is a good tradeoff for what I was looking for.

Not the Same as the Picture

It is true that the item received is not the same as depicted. However, it still serves the same purpose/idea. I didn't return it because it was the cheapest one that I could find for how I am using it: storing a bunch of posters. Also, it is still a storage tube.

I got this so I could check my foam sword for a flight. It worked great! I added a label on the tube that said it was a costume prop and they checked it in without a problem.
