A pretty & pragmatic solution to an everyday work need!

This was exactly what I needed for work. It is shorter than my previous work-issued lanyard, which actually helps so that my badge isn't getting bent against the counter as it was. I paired it with a plastic sleeve (purchased elsewhere on Amazon), and now my badge is protected from breaking (again :). I needed the breakaway lanyard for safety, and Hidden Hollow Beads gave me that option. So, not only is this lanyard completely functional, it is also attractive! Someone complimented me almost immediately when I wore it. I like that this bottom piece swivels, as my ID badge is two-sided. I enjoy that the lanyard can be pragmatic and pretty! So are, it has held up quite well, and I think that it feels strong enough that it will.

Even better than the picture- love the beading. Purchased to use for a small telescope device that hangs around neck for a visually impaired child- trying to encourage her to wear the device. The pretty lanyard did the trick. I'm hoping it holds up- if it doesn't, I'll edit my review accordingly. As for now- so far, so good!
Pretty but scratchy

The beading on the lanyard is very pretty. But the end of the lanyard, near the magnetic closure, is scratchy. There are tiny pieces of wire that stick out. I tried to cut and file the wires, but I couldn't get it smooth. I just carry the lanyard instead of wearing it, which I guess totally defeats the purpose of having a lanyard.

I love my lanyard; however, teaching middle school, coaching cheer, and constantly having to unlock doors due to safety precautions, it took a great deal of wear and tear... some of the elongated beads broke. I contacted the seller, and they were so very helpful and apologized for my trouble. They then made suggestions that might be a better fit for me in my work. I gladly took their advice and chose the beautiful all metal Celtic lanyard. I return to school this week and can't wait to put it to the test! Thank you Hidden Hollow Beads you are the best!!! I will return to report on how the new lanyard is holding up.

I wear this for my work badge which also doubles as the photo copier/scanner sign in mechanism. It's long enough so I don't have to bend over awkwardly. I love the multicolored beads, and the clear style, very pretty and professional, and matches everything! I like the break away style so I can easily take it off or put I on as I need to. Strong magnets too, so don't worry that it will come apart unexpectedly...
