Bad carafe and no warranty to speak of

I bought four of these carafes in 2016 and 2 of them have failed thus far in less than a year. I bought 2 carafes at first and I liked the design and they held the heat really well so I bought 2 more for gifts. After 9 months of every day use the first one failed loosing its vacuum. I contacted this seller about the problem and they said it is not under Amazons warranty but they would send me a replacement anyway. However, it has been over two months and I have not received anything from them. To make matters worse the second carafe purchased, used as needed for hot water and then it failed 2 weeks after being used every day for coffee. I paid around $30 for each carafe so I'm now out $60 and I am not happy. I believe they should have at least lasted at minimum a year of daily use. I don't recommend buying this product or from this dealer.

I was very happy with my purchase. It not only looks good, but it keeps things hots for several hours. I do "pre-heat" it with hot water before filling it with my coffee. It's easy to clean, as well.

I work at home in an office in my basement. I make a pit of tea in then morning and this stays hot all day long. Even still warm the next day. Only wish the lid came apart so it can be easier to clean.
