Great for creating an opening in a sheet of plastic over a doorway or construction framework.

A two pack of seven foot zippers for use to make a temporary entrance/exit in material, likely plastic. This was used on 6 mil plastic to form a temporary door for construction purposes. The zipper seals well but just to be sure I used other tape to reinforce the zipper to the plastic. For my purpose, only one zipper was needed to make a door for the average person to walk through without bending or ducking (as long as the zipper is installed full length - seven feet from floor to top end). One zipper makes a narrower opening than the use of two zippers. If you need a wide opening, use both zippers. The material of the zipper is either Nylon or such like, and the zip itself nylon and/or plastic such as is used in most zip closures for anything. So far, it seems sturdy enough to withstand everyday, frequent use without abuse!
The seller packaged it well with other items too. It was shipped UPS then transferred to USPS at the end of the journey, which worked out well for me. Thank you.

Kinda disappointed with the zipper showing so much light but it does make a quick easy door. Sticks good to my 7mil plastic. 2 stars because of visible light... Not comparable to most tent zippers I've seen.
Great product for remodeling

while living in my house I am completely remodeling every room. Been using these zippers for over theee months and have found them to be irreplaceable. Purchased some heavy duty plastic sheeting 6 mm and taped these zippers in the middle. Then taped the outside of the plastic to the walls. I have been able to gut rooms, and keep the dust from entering other areas. Best part is that as I move from room to room, these zippers are holding up just fine.
Worked better than we thought it would

Worked better for our purpose than we thought it would. We used it to create an entry into our older RV after we covered it with a tarp for the winter. Weren't sure it would work, but it did! The only reason for the 4 rather than 5 stars is it is beginning not to stick to the tarp. Out in the weather, I suppose we knew it wouldn't be a permanent solution, but wish it had lasted a bit longer.
Work great !!!

These work great on 6 mil plastic barricades. I have had mine up for over a week and frequently go in and out. Still sticking with no sign of wear. I will be purchasing more. If you are in a home remodel and need to barricade with plastic I would suggest these and some

Those of you trying to use these for tents... it's not made for them.
