I bought these to support Feitore 7x100 garden netting over my rows of strawberries, and I couldn't be happier. This large size 25.6"x 37.4" hoop works best over my 30 inch wide raised beds. I spaced them 4 feet apart, and they do a great job keeping the netting well above the plants and the berries out of reach of the birds. This product help save my crop from complete obliteration. They take a little bit of strength to properly assemble, and I would recommend using something to protect your hands to help grip the hoop. I used a jar opening gripper pad and that worked just fine. Grip gloves would work too.

I am using more and more hoops each year. Mostly to support shade cloth. Our Springs are cold and then they flip right into the 80's-90's ... I need a strategy for all of the cool season crops and shade cloth is it. I included a few pictures:
- I'm using 3 hoops in the red raised bed - that bed is 24" wide and 4' long - I've got netting on that one to protect the carrots in there.
- I'm using I'm using 4 hoops in the white raised bed - that bed is 24" wide and 8' long - I've got shade cloth on that one to keep the lettuce cooler in there and also for protection.
The protection part is from insects, rabbits, and deer. The deer think that my raised beds are feeding stations just for them, so that they don't have to bend down as far! ;-)
I like that these hoops are one piece - nothing to come apart or break at a joint. The plastic coated metal should make these rust free.
I am using these when I set out plants, so I don't need anything very high or wide. As the plants get larger, I remove these and go with a larger set and a larger piece of shade cloth. I am also using these for lettuce, arugula, carrots, etc. in 24" wide raised beds.
If you need something bigger, these are not for you! ;-) But if you are looking for something this size, you can't go wrong. I bought a set of 6 and liked them so much that I got another set.
And since these come in different sets and sizes - here's what I have:
