wouldnt suggest for tapered barrels

doesn't fit a tapered barrel to well, like on a ruger 10/22 or a lot of hunting rifles. doesn't tighten down firmly. It works but dont get to rough with it or it will slide down the barrel Probably would work well with uniform barrels like shot guns have.

Ugly as anything, but strong as an ox.
Mounted onto my sportered 03-A3, with a bipod attached to the rail.
Never so much as budged.
Granted, I placed a layer of tourniquet rubber on both faces (to reduce marring the barrel), but I'm fair certain it would've held just as well w/o that.
