Great protection from the sun.
Warne Bailey•October 23, 2017
Works great. I was worried that the height might not be enough, but it was fine. The polarized material reduces glare better then cheap plastic. Optically, it's great, with no distortion. If you have a space between the visor and the glare guard, try flipping it around. It's more expensive then others, but polarization costs more than colored plastic.
Close to perfect, hinges appear to be strong
Ken C.•September 1, 2017
Close to perfect, hinges appear to be strong, it grips the visor well and the straps make sure it won't come off..........except.........it could be 1" more in Y axis and the hinges recessed to close the gap between the visor and Extender reduced to say 2mm (.08), this would make it better for those that are vertically challenged.
Much better

We received the Glare Guard, installed it and had three days of overcast and rainy weather. Finally a sunny morning and we got to put it into use. Combined with sunglasses it significantly reduces the glare from the sun. However, I can see that a strip of some opaque material (Duct Tape?) near the top will be necessary to block the intense low angle sun of early morning that is just below the installed visor and is too bright for even the combination of sunglasses and the Glare Guard.
Clear vision and protects from sun glare
dorisw226•June 7, 2017
I like this product. You have very clear vision through the glare guard. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that I wish it were a little bigger in width. The length is great, but there is a 3/4" or so gap from the pull down shade and the glare guard and it just is shorter than I would like. I have a different one for my car (this was for my husband's car) and it provides more coverage. It easily pulls down to use. The clips were tight enough that my husband didn't use the velcro to ensure the glare guard was tightly strapped to the visor. (This is an issue I have with the other glare screen that I have for my car...it keeps slipping down).
This does reduce glare from othe vehicles and reflected light ...

This does reduce glare from othe vehicles and reflected light, but don't expect it to make much difference if your driving into the rising sun. It helps and makes the road more visable but unless you wear sunglasses it's still too bright in direct sun.
Two weeks after using it I find it helpful on a daily basis and does appear polarized. It's also well-made and so far hasn't had issues in the heat. I'm upgrading it to five stars!!
