Very easy to keep your grip on, even for clumsy fingers.
Sturdy and well built.
BUT...
The little spot that is supposed to act as a nail file is useless, it can't smooth anything out.
The first time I used them they worked beautifully! Nice and sharp.
But with each successive use they have become more and more dull.
I have only used them 4 times and now they are so dull they can't cut through my finger nails on the first try, they end up chewing their way through.
I'm disappointed.

One of my clippers had a slight defect and I sent it back. It had a small chip to one of the blades as well as two scratches. I did try them out before I sent them back and was impressed by how strong and solid they were. They have a little nail file section on each. Those sections on mine were covered in a blue protective film when I got them. You should peel this off if you want to use them. It's not for decoration. I ended up ordering cheaper nail clippers as part of a set and they are HORRIBLE compared to these. I might buy these again and replace them.

So, you know the cheap $1 clippers you can get in Walmart after losing every.single.pair. you've owned? And they don't actually work without some superhuman strength and still manage to NOT cut a straight line? Well, these are their polar opposite!

They cut though your nails quite easily, are quite easy to push down and twist around, and have a quite solid construction as well. The only negative is that the file is hard to use with short nails, because it's located directly in the middle of the handle, so I can't reach it sometimes.

Not your typical clippers!

I have had more pairs of clippers than I care to remember. They are all pretty much the same. I will have to admit, these clippers would be the exception. There are several features that make these clippers stand out. Both pairs of clippers have a hanging hole at the end of the base. You can hang them on a nail, hook or key ring. These are really great for college students. They are really handsome. They have a soft brushed silver finish with the Fox logo.

When you are using these clippers, the noticeable difference is the distance that you need to push the lever down to completely close the teeth. That makes them cut quicker and there is less hand strain. Plus, a nice little feature is the grooved lines at the tip of the lever. It provides you more security against them slipping out of your fingers. This is really nice if you have wet hands. Since they are made of stainless steel, you don't have to worry about them rusting. The clippers are super sharp. They cut with very little pressure and they cut cleanly. My mother has some really hard toe-nails and these toenail clippers can clean them up nicely.

This is a really quality set of clippers. You notice it as soon as you see them. They are well-made,compact and strong. I definitely recommend them without any hesitation. It would have been nice to have a storage case, as an added bonus.

The first thing I noticed about these toenail and fingernail clippers is that they look very expensive and very nicely made. I first used them on my toenails which have become very thick over the last couple of years and to my surprise these clippers smoothly clipped them with ease! They seem very sharp and I love how wide they are. Another great thing about these clippers is they have a built in file on them. These are by far the best clippers I have owned and thankfully this seller sold them as a set.
