Easy to install and made a big difference in comfort for the room with the attic access. The materials do seem a little flimsy, but right now it is doing its job as described so five stars.

I leave in Florida and every time I open the attic I feel like I open the oven. I love the product because it was easy to install and efficient to keep the heat inside the attic.

This product really reduces the amount of heat we get in from the attic. I did have to make some alterations to get it to fit the way I wanted it to. I thought it would sit around the top edges of the entry but it is a flush fitting application. It sits just inside the frame of the steps. I am a former HVAC tech so I had some good mastic tape. I cut the end and brought it together and then stapled the blanket to the walls of the frame. I used the aluminum tape around all of the edges and over the staples. The zipper works very well. I usually go up with full arms and have to leave one empty now :) But it does definitely reduce loss of cool air. The attic door is directly over the thermostat. I think if I would have measured more precisely I would not have had to make the adjustment.

We are very happy with this product. It has helped our dust problem a lot period we have had problems with dust coming in since we moved in 32 years ago. This is the first item we have found that actually did some good. The only issue we have is now being able to get up into the attic as it is in the way. Anyone who has been able to solve this I would be interested.

- We opened the product from the plastic bag and there was a surface tear.
- The product was also much thinner than expected. Resembles a window car shade. Hopefully it'll keep the heat during the summer.
+ My husband and brother installed the product with ease. Just as long as you have a staple gun.
