Longer term relief than standard tears drops

I've got one messed up eye that gets really dry and sore, enough to wake me in the middle of the night. Regular tears drops work, but I have to wake up and put them in multiple times each night. This really helped and I was able to sleep through the night. It also works good during the day. If you put a lot in then it can make your vision cloudy temporarily. For me personally that eye doesn't see well anyway so it didn't bother me personally. If you put too much in then it feels like you put Vaseline in your eye for a few minutes, but if you have really dry eyes then this helps more than anything else I have tried.

GenTeal Gel Eye Lubricant has done wonders for our Dog. She has Trichiasis, which is where her eyelashes are growing inward, and touching her eye. Before we knew what was wrong, she would always squint, and was constantly rubbing her eyes. The vet told us to try these eye drops, and she can actually open her eyes after we put these in. She also no longer has the urge to constantly rub her eyes. Ultimately we want to find a surgeon to fix the issue, but these eye drops at least provide her significant relief, until we can make that happen!

It appears the company has finally addressed and fixed the problem with too much product coming out of the tip. Now it's a very small, controlled amount unlike the earlier droppers.
