I bought this set to start of right. After looking and searching on similar products I settled for Polished Gentlemen. I'm new to the whole beard trend, I've been shaving since my teens and now I've decided to let my beard grow and since I'm the type of man that if I'm going to do something I have to commit to it and being that facial hair is serious then I decided to go with the best. Like I said I'm new so I'm just letting my beard grow. I ordered these baby's on Monday and I rushed delivered them, got them the very next day. Naturally I have to try them although all I have right now is a nice scruff. The product is great, my face felt moist and very smooth, the shampoo is great, not a huge lather like your normal shampoo, the conditioner is as great as the shampoo, I can tell that using this product as my beard grows will be very helpful with the itch and flakiness that comes with growing a beard and that's the reason I didn't like to go more than a week without shaving. Like I said, the product feels great, the scent is not strong or overwhelming, its close to Cremo but not as strong, Cremo starts with a minty scent then it kinda transpires to a kinda damp scent but not Polished Gentlemen. I love how my face felt after washing and conditioning my scruff. Definitely happy with my purchase and my choice for Polished Gentlemen. I'll come back with an updated review I'm several weeks.

After using for about 4 months during growing my beard from stubble to a respectable 4 month almost 5 month long beard at 2.5 almost 3 inches in length without trims I feel that I can give this product a through comprehensive review. While the 'increased growth rate' claim is debatable as always with anything, but it does seem to help encourage new growth as some of my more thinner spots of my beard i.e. the upper cheeks and under the lower lip seem to have filled in a bit more than what it was prior to using the product. Plus it seems that its kept my growth rate up during the slow season of Winter and keeping it more closer to that of Summer growth rates, though I'm also using hair and nail growth vitamins and CBD so it's hard to tell if it's the product working or the other products in my routine.

The smell is a bit weird getting used to, but as most have stated it isn't the worst and you get used to it relatively quick. After using both the shampoo and conditioner my very course beard does seem more softer and more manageable as well as easier to train and groom and makes it look fuller and more bushy which I like. As for moisturizing it's not the best and you still might need to follow up with a beard oil or tonic especially in Winter when it's drier.

Perhaps my biggest complaint is that the conditioner can be a bear to get out of the bottle once it gets about a third the way as its too thick and semi-pasty almost like thick pudding or custard. I have to take the lid off and beat the bottle into my hand to get the product out at this point as squeezing it isn't enough. The shampoo on the other hand is somewhat runny and watery though still lathers up real good and does the job well. All in all I'd recommend this product to other beard enthusiast out there, but if you can make the conditioner not as thick, that would be excellent!

Like the smell and how soft it makes my beard feel

I'm a man with a medium-thick beard (about 3" currently) and I'm trying to grow it out. As my fellow beardsmen know, keeping it clean, healthy, and itch-free can be a challenge. Because of this, I began my beard product research.

I've used other beard products, though I always felt like my beard dried out after. I would blow through oil and balm at alarming rates. I started researching both shampoos and conditioners for my face-glove, and found many promising results. However, when I researched the polished gentleman beard shampoo and conditioner, I found that it topped many best-of lists, and had excellent feedback. For me, the positivity of the community and the promise of a healthier, thicker beard with this three for two system, was enough to outweigh the price.

Now, does it work? I'm happy to say that yes, for me it does. I usually shower one to two times a day, depending on my workouts, and so my facemane tends to dry out. I added this system every 2 days and had noticing less dryness, zero itch, and I actually noticed the healthy oil feel after showers! The oils and other ingredients make it feel clean and healthy, without drying out or feeling lighter, like I washed out some of its beardness.

As for adding thickness, I cannot yet determine. I will say that having stronger, healthier beard hair equates to less hair loss, and therefore will make it thicker. I will update in a couple of months.

The bottom line, this is the best beard shampoo and conditioner I've used, the customer service has been amazing, and I look forward to my best beard yet.

Side note: there is no water in the shampoo and conditioner, just the stuff you need. Therefore, it's super concentrated so you don't need to use a ton. I recommend starting with less, and adding as needed.

I seen this Shampoo and Conditioner combo in the recommended/also purchased section while ordering some beard oil, and thought I would give it a shot.

Boy, am I glad I did!!!

I didn't think my beard was bad off, but after the first use I noticed a world of difference. My beard was softer and just felt overall healthier. It stopped any itch/irritation of the skin underneath the beard and also prevented any bearddruff(dandruff of the beard) until the next use.

As for the thickening aspect, I have used it for about two weeks now, and I have noticed less hair fallout when combing and just overall. My Beard also looks fuller after use and throughout the day.

I have not noticed any difference in growth yet, but that will take some time to see any results. I will update this review after more time has passed about any affects on growth.

The shampoo ran out much quicker than the conditioner. Still have about half a bottle of conditioner left.
Would be great if you sold the shampoo by itself due to this reason.

After using this product fo a while, it did have some result in thickening while making my beard feel healthier overall.

Still reccomend this product.
