VERY, VERY pleased with this litter box! My cat is a "full-figured" gal, and she needs a little "extra" room in the litter box, so I was a little hesitant to purchase a hooded box for her (I didn't want her to feel claustrophobic, or as if she didn't have enough room to even turn around!). But, I liked the idea of a hooded box, since I wanted to try to contain the litter within the box as much as possible, as well as eliminate the odor that my little princess typically leaves lingering in the air after doing her business! So I took a chance and ordered this jumbo hooded litter box, and I can honestly say that it is one of the BEST litter boxes that I have ever purchased! I like the clear top, so that I can see 'what' exactly is going on in there, and I think that it helps that my cat can see out while she is in there, instead of feeling as if she's in a dark cave. Plus, the opening is big enough for my big girl to enter and exit easily (no 'squeezing' to get in or out!), and the edge of the opening is covered with a protective strip (the same color as the bottom of the box), so no sharp edge to worry about for either the cat or myself (when I scoop the poop!). This litter box is a good value for the price, and seems to be made with quality material-- very sturdy, and the snap latches are strong and easy to use. I highly recommend this box, even though it might not be the best for anyone with a small kitten, or an elderly cat, since the opening might present a challenge for the very little and/or the very old. (However, if the opening were cut lower, then it would probably allow more litter to leave the box when the cat exits, which defeats the purpose of having a covered box in the first place!).

Excellent! I bought this because one of my kittens loves to kick up cat litter when he does his business. Both of my kittens took to it right away. The first time my kicker used it, he stepped in his own poo (I know, he's still learning give him a break) and flicked his paw, sending poo everywhere. Lucky for me, the hood stopped it all and it was super easy to wipe off the plastic. I immediately felt vindicated in buying this litter box.
The pan is very deep allowing me to put a good 3-4 inches of litter in there. That helps stop any smells and my kicker kitten is happy as a clam doing his business without me yelling at him for making a mess.
The only possible downside is that it's very large so make sure you have enough room for it where ever you plan to store it.

Very easy to clean. Really like the clear cover as it is easy to see when the litter box needs attention. Also, the cover discourages the dog from getting to the cats' feces. The cats like it, no issues with them going right in and taking care of business. Litter is controlled more readily as there is only one source for entry and exit, so a mat will catch the litter that does track. I will replace the other litter boxes in the house with this litter box from Petphabet.

So far I only have great things to say. My first litterbox arrived broken (although the box was not damaged) so I sent a few photos to the seller and within a day they had a new one in route. I've set it up and have to say, I may be a believer!
I have two older cats, including one 18lb Maine coon that was having issues 'spilling' over the side of our traditional large litterbox. I had tried to fix the problem with putting large rubber mats around the box, which strangely prompted him to just pee on those (while standing somewhat in the box). After trying several other boxes, I didn't think anything would work. However, we are going on a solid week now with NO SPILLAGE and both cats seem to really like it. Even our obsessive digger is keeping the litter in one place. SO happy to not be spraying down the cat mats. Props to this seller for a good product and great customer service.

While this is the best litter pan I've tried so far, my one small complaint is the rounded shape. The round shape is not easy to clean with a straight edge scooper. The round shape helps avoid the problem of digging clumps out of the corners, but it can be frustrating to clean. All in all, I still like it better than any other box I've tried. Pros: The large shape allows for deep enough litter to prevent clumps reaching and sticking to the bottom. The covered dome catches tons of sand that would otherwise be flung out of the box, and the clear cover alleviates fear of surprise ambush by another cat and makes it easy to monitor usage for cleaning and refilling. Our cats loved using it right away without any problems. I love the silly colors too.
