Broken motor, loud noise

This mobile is so cute and my baby loved it... until it started making this terribly loud broken motor sound. Now every time we turn it on we have to immediately turn off the spinning motor because the noise wakes up the baby, exactly the opposite of a mobile's purpose. So disappointing... I would not purchase this again :(

I love the music selection for this mobile. I also have a baby einstein fish tank with music toy for the crib but I am so sick of all the "classical" music toys. The fish tank toy has the same old classics on repeat and is driving me nuts. This mobile (thank God) has a lovely range of classical, disney and other music. Very refreshing. Aesthetically this mobile is very nice but as other reviews have stated it's more pastel than "boy blues" in color. That doesn't bother me though and I think it's very nice. Most importantly, baby loves it! This has improved the transition to the crib very much.

My baby loves this mobile so much. I turn it on in the morning and it actually buys me 30-45 minutes. He'll just stare at it for ages and sometimes even talks to the little figures. I turn it on when I nurse before bedtime too and I think it helps relax him to sleep.

Just got this mobile, and really like it so far. My son is two and a half months old and seems very entertained by it. The mobile itself is very colorful and cute, though the colors are less bold, more pastel, thsn I expected.
The parts were very easy to assemble and attach to the crib and seem sturdy. I like all the features on the music box part -- the variety of songs, volume control, ability to skip tracks and to stop it spinning if you want to. It always seems to me it would make more sense for all the cute stuff hanging down to face down at the baby rather than out, but that's really my only criticism. I would definitely recommend this mobile.
