I am absolutely in love with this mobile. I've seen dozens of mobiles in stores, looked at tons of mobiles online, and when I received this one - it was the one.

First of all, for the baby - this mobile is made with the baby in mind. The interior (underside) of the mobile is all lines and shapes and the little insects are facing downward (towards the baby, not the parent standing next to the crib). So many mobiles look pretty from the side, but you'd be bored to death if you were the child looking up at nothing... literally. In addition, from a developmental standpoint, it's a well-known fact that for the first few weeks/ months, babies can see only high-contrast colors (black and white) and red, and they like to look at plaid, lines, etc. This mobile is all that. In sum - it's a baby-focused mobile, and I really really like that.

Second - the quality is good. It's solid, the material is thick, and feels like a well-made product. It won't fall soon, the clips are sturdy, and it doesn't look like a flimsy plastic thing made in a third-rate factory in China. Assembly was easy, I put it together (at 8 months pregnant) in 10 minutes with minimal effort.

Third - the features and music is nice. The buttons are easy to use. The music is pleasant, with 60 songs to choose from, I won't be going crazy listening to the same "twinkle twinkle little star"... the music here is a bit more evolved, and with so many choices, it's nice to be able to rotate through songs for 5-10 minutes and not feel like I'm in a Barney cartoon. They still sound like mobile songs, just not annoying.

So - that's all I wanted in a mobile, and I got it in this one. I'm so so so happy with this product.

I always thought crib mobiles were just for parents (and not for babies) to decorate a cute nursery with, but our pediatrician recommended a mobile for our baby daughter to have a good association with the crib. There is some debate apparently regarding mobiles, whether they are too stimulating and distracting for sleep. For our baby, this light pastel toned mobile is not too stimulating. This fits our Babyletto crib well and set up was a breeze.

As far as features go, you have the ability to go to the next song or the song before, change the rotation clockwise vs counter clockwise, and adjust the volume up and down. I was pleasantly surprised how loud this gets. It automatically shuts off after 30 minutes. You can just have the mobile rotate but have the sound on silent. Now with the AC on in the room for the summer, it moves the hanging dolls ever so slightly and I don't even bother turning it on. If my daughter starts crying on occasion after I put her down in the crib, I simply shake the pink or blue bears on planes to sound the bell, successfully distract her for a second, and sneak out the room. Works like a charm!

One star off for some minor issues: Just because it's a little expensive for what it is; plastic holder seems a bit cheap; and for only getting a snippet of the main melody for each song as opposed to full length songs.

My wife and I were on a months-long quest to find a good mobile for our baby's crib. Everything we saw either wouldn't fit our crib or just wasn't worth the money. And most of them seemed to be wind-up which to me is just silly. I came across this one and it looked pretty perfect - ran on batteries, lots of music, and a very cute theme. When we received it we were not disappointed. It looks great, is of excellent quality, and best of all our little girl could stare at it for hours. This was about the same price as some of the wind-up ones we saw in the bigger stores but is just overall a much better value. Can't be more pleased!

This is the best mobile I could have ever ordered. I am so in love with it. The quality is excellent and the material is so soft.bthe music sound level is adjustable. It's just perfect!!

I love the music selection for this mobile. I also have a baby einstein fish tank with music toy for the crib but I am so sick of all the "classical" music toys. The fish tank toy has the same old classics on repeat and is driving me nuts. This mobile (thank God) has a lovely range of classical, disney and other music. Very refreshing. Aesthetically this mobile is very nice but as other reviews have stated it's more pastel than "boy blues" in color. That doesn't bother me though and I think it's very nice. Most importantly, baby loves it! This has improved the transition to the crib very much.
