It works! Snaps on so there is nothing else required to hold it on. However, if you buy two of them and try to place both on the motor, one on each side of the motor, you find that two will not fit. Together, they are longer than the circumference of the motor. I ended up cutting one of them to make the second fit and added a hose clamp around both of them to keep the second one on.
