Looks okay. One piece of Gaboon ebony cracked more than an inch; still enough wood for the short-ish knife I bought it for but thought I'd have enough left over for some contrast on another knife. I won't. Appear to be dipped in wax. I guess that will gum up a belt too but have to get it off to take the glue and the finish. Other wood I've bought from TKS was great, must just be something about the gaboon ebony... Cocobolo was nowhere near as interesting as "representative" looks nice with brass liners though.

I got Bocote, Tulipwood and Purpleheart. All beautiful wood for knife scales. I'm super bummed about the Purpleheart though because I messed it up and I am definitely going to buy another pair in the future for another build.
