Careful of Sharp Parts

My daughter was so excited to recieve this hula hoop and had waited for over a week to receive it.
Based on the reviews I was expecting a very high quality hoop. Overall the quality and function of the hoop seemed good until a sharp metal piece scratched my daughters foot. It was a small rivet on the outside of the hoop. I would expect some quality control on a hoop this expensive and unfortunately it doesn't seem this item is checked for safety before being sent out. Disappointing!

I've had this hoop for about a week and so far I'm very pleased! Shipping was great and the seller is kind and accommodating. The lights work great and look awesome at night. I'm a beginner hooper and I'm having lots of fun trying new moves with this hoop in daylight and at night. I haven't had to charge the batteries yet, but I'm confident it will work as planned.
Update- sellers have sent very nice follow up emails, only I've had trouble with the lights and trouble getting in touch with the sellers. Possibly on my end? Not sure, but my wonderful lights stopped working so I'm hoping to exchange for a working hoop.

My granddaughter is 10 and a hula hoop professional at her school. She loved the lighted hoop. The only problem was she has trouble turning it on and off. The snap button is very hard to push in and snap in place. I wish it was easier for her.
