Well built but small. Read dimensions before you buy

Small and compact. Cant get your hand down in scoop to remove items. Have to shake them to tbe mouth of the scoop to remove. Built solid for foot pushing.

Delivered on time as advertised. I like that it comes with the short handle and a long handle of your choice can be sourced locally. Works great, although with wet sand, I wish some of the holes were a little larger. I would definitely buy again.

Tough choice between 4 and 5 stars. Excellent quality. Seems very durable. My only hesitation is that the holes are a bit small. If the sand is only in the top few inches and very dry - it's perfect. If the sand is deeper than a few inches and has moisture in it, there is some difficulty in getting it to sift with holes this size. It gets tiring having to shake the scoop that vigorously over and over again with every dig. So, I'll go with 5 stars just because for what it is, it's excellent. It is well made, and is exactly as advertised. But as a new metal detector user, I had no idea about what hole size would be preferable. Most of the time, it won't be the "right tool for the job" if used for damp sand - which is most of what I find myself sifting. But that's my issue, not the scoop's.
