I bought this backpack to travel to Europe, understanding that backpacks are usually not the safest bet but this "very cute" backpack has a deep zipper pocket in the center and also one hidden next to your back. I love this beautiful bag and found it very light and comfortable. It's also beautifully made and looks classy. I'm thinking of getting another color. I highly recommend it!

I purchased this product with the sole intention of it being used on a daily basis and being big enough to carry around my emergency medical kit, phone, and any other general items I carry with me regularly. It is not overly large (which is a concern for a petite person) but it is also big enough to house my emergency kit (which is a big deal because I require it to be with me at all times and it is about the size of a textbook so it's not very purse-friendly.

For traveling I would say you will probably want something larger but for use just walking about I think it's great. It has a pocket on the back to securely keep a small wallet. And the inside has a separated pocket with a zip pocket to put an ipad, a book, and some other items.

As far as versatility goes I get compliments ALL THE TIME on my bag and my favorite thing to show them is the convertible strap. Pulled down it operates as a backpack. Pulled up you can use it as a shoulder strap or even cross body strap. It also has a handle. This feature is by far the greatest thing about this product. I've been using it for about a month now and the quality is stunning. It looks like some expensive $100+ dollar bag but it's not. And it's also durable. I can see myself probably having this for a year (at least) before I consider replacing it. And that's assuming I don't get the same bag in other colors.

Love this bag! I have the black one in man-made leather. I agree with some of the other reviews that it is smallish if you plan to use it as a school or work bag "” but it's the perfect size if you use it as a purse. I especially like to take it with me when I travel. The convertible strap feature means it's the only purse I need to bring: wear it as a backpack while exploring during the day, then wear it as a cross-body or over-the-shoulder when going out to dinner at night. The convertible feature has also saved me from having to check my bag in places that don't allow backpacks (e.g., museums and concert venues). And no need to worry about getting caught in the rain with the man-made leather. Lastly, I've been surprised by how durable this bag is (I've had it a few years now and it looks like new).
