The fan controller failed soon after I purchased and installed the fan

Soon after installing the fan, the fan controller failed. I replaced the batteries. I repeatedly tried the "learn" settings and controller reset and nothing worked. I called support and they told me that they thought that the controller had failed. The seller sent me a new remote controller for the fan.

Installation was relatively easy and the remote is a great addition. Besides on and off, it has 8 or 9 speeds and three ways to cycle though several of the speeds or all in order to vary the air movement. We've never experienced that before and it is a nice touch
