I thought silicone gloves would be more of an awkward bother than a help. I was wrong. These work swimingly. Especially in a very hot oven with heavy dutch ovens, pizza stones etc. I even picked up the whole 22 lb turkey off my Webber grill to place on a platter. Didn't have to use those big forks to pick it up, losing all the juice in the bird or roast. They're not "delicate", reg oven pads ore good for that, but these don't shift halfway through handling a large or heavy or very hot item. Love them.

After suffering through old, singed oven mitts and newer poorly insulated oven gloves, I saw a pair of these AYL grilling gloves at my neighbor's house. He used them for outdoor grilling and indoor oven use. I ordered them the next day, and ... wow. I can hold onto the hottest item and not feel a thing. Being gloves, they're more dextrous than oven mitts, which for me means they're safer. Really soft felt-like inner lining, too. I'd recommend them to anyone.

These gloves are wonderful, they really do protect picking up the hottest of pans and you don't have to hurry to put them down. The design seems a little strange as it is just a flat glove that fits in a drawer without taking up much space. But it's very flexible and very easy to just switch hands, you don't have to look for the "other glove". The fabric inside is very comfortable but I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher myself. It's easy to clean, just washing your hands in the sink basically. They are very grippy as well.
