Very nicely made product. It has vents to let the wind escape even! I love that they did not use an elastic band for the head band. Those quickly stretch out.

I had high hopes for this cool idea of a sun protector for hiking. However, the little plastic knob at the top inside that secures it while it's open seems to dig into my head. Also, the chin strap really is a tie ribbon. I wore this around the house for about 10 min. I ended up with a headache because of the plastic tip pressing into the top of my head. I contacted the company via online chat. They were great at refunding my expense. If they can redesign this item, I think it would work great.

This product was so poorly made that there were loose threads hanging off it on all sides. Before I could think about doing anything with it I had to clip the threads to keep them from getting tangled. No instructions are provided showing how to use it, but I eventually figured that out. There is no padding on the central plastic bolt that the top of the umbrella screws into and when the hat is put on, the bolt presses painfully into the head. Perhaps I can figure out some way to pad the bolt so it won't hurt. Otherwise, this thing is going back. Good idea, extremely poor execution.

Lightweight and the suspension gives enough to keep annoying movement from immediately transferring to your head. The only issue I have will be an easy fix... the little plastic button on the very center next to your skull is too small and hurts ....I will either glue a quarter or a sponge piece to it so it doesnt dig in.
