Short:
Good: Display port and USB work in my opinion as if they were connected directly to the computer (I mostly used it connected to a moderately high end computer system with this remote box on a CAT6 25FT cable.) Easy setup, all ports on both boxes clearly labeled.
Bad: In my case it has been the slow support in customer service. I believe I have a failed box. Video issues, more detail below.
Extended description:
The product is great, Good video, no noticeable video compression even with a true 10 bit monitor (I use it for photo editing), and fast USB response times. It did exactly what I needed. I needed to be able to use my desktop in a space that was only enough for a laptop. Being that this box is only the size of a cable modem, or smaller, it took up little space. I was able to run a flat cable under an area rug between the grooves of the tile so you wouldn't feel it under the feet and I could leave it out and not have to put that away. I only have a keyboard, mouse, and monitor connected to the box. I was able to be productive and comfortable.
9/16: Maybe I got a defective one? Started having random lines and screen drop out. Without getting into details, I swapped everything with known goods and found it was the boxes causing the lines.
9/18: I contacted the manufacturer, got one fast response about a troubleshooting step, I was impressed. tried their steps of removing everything and reconnecting with no change. Responded same day.
9/20: I would love to update my one star to a five star but it's waiting on AV ACCESS responding back with a resolution to my issue. I have always thought Customer service sells a product but not impressed yet.
9/21: Started to get responses from the manufacture, however, still not resolved but in this case it may be out of their hands do to a technical issue by shipper. Changing from 1 star to 3 due to attempt in correcting issue, they correct it even with the delays I may move back to a 5 star like I would have placed on it based solely on the products abilities. If I get a replacement, it fails it will fall back to a 1 star with no change based on bad build quality.

LIfe savers right here. I use these to run USB from my couch/recliner in my home theater, out to my multimedia rack in another room... Works perfectly. My only gripe is the 4 device limitation. I get it, I understand why it's like that. But, I would LOVE to be able to use a hub with this thing... I WILL be buying a second one for extra devices though. Comparable (and less user-friendly) solutions will easily cost you double this price. Do not miss this product

I bought this to connect my midi keyboard to my computer which were about 25 feet away from each other. Before this, I tried small USB to Ethernet connectors and they didn't work. I thought it would need to be powered so I bought this setup. Come to find out, it's so good, I didn't need power for this which makes me think I could have used better USB to Ethernet. Nonetheless, this works perfectly and can support 4 devices. I have had no problems after a few months of use.
This didn't work for a webcam for us.

These did not work well for us. We purchased these to use to extend a webcam USB connection approximately 40 feet. The camera works, but constantly looses the connection to the PC. This happens approximately every minute or two, then it reconnects. We've tried different ports, etc. We are switching to another device.
Works better than cheap USB over Cat 5 extenders

We had a Cat5e cable run that ran about 40 feet up two walls and across the ceiling. I estimated the total run to be no more 40 feet, it could be less, maybe 30~35, but definitely no more than 40 feet.
When using the cheaper $10~$15 USB to Cat5 extenders, the camera image contained distortion. When using the camera during a Webex meeting, the image had dotted green bar across the bottom and the image had what could be best described as "halos".
We are using a Logitech PTZ camera and even tried other cameras during troubleshooting. The camera worked fine when plugged directly into the PC using just its USB cable.
We ruled everything out leaving just the USB-Cat5 extenders and the Cat5e cable as the only causes.
When this AV Access USB extender was used, the camera issue was no longer present. No more green bar or halos.
I like that the receiver end has multiple USB ports and has a power adapter included. Therefore it acts as a powered USB hub.
I also chose this model because it explicitly said it contained a signal amplifier, which is important given we were using this for a conference camera.
