Super cute machine for my 8 year old!

My 8 year old daughter loves this, however the microphone port had a short in it so the mic wouldn't work most of the time. I contacted Amazon, packed it back up in the original box and UPS picked it up the next day. A new one will be here next week! So easy that it made the operational frustration much less of an "issue". I hope the new one works great! Gave 4 stars due to not knowing the final outcome of the exchange.
***UPDATE*** I reordered the replacement, UPS picked it up the next day (such an easy process!). My confirmation said I would receive the replacement once they got the old one back. I received the new one the very next day. TWO days went by that my daughter had to wait, that was all. KUDOS to Amazon for amazing customer service. The new one works great and she sings at the top of her lungs everyday! Thank you for such great service.

This was a Christmas gift for my 7 year old daughter (cough, cough and maybe me...) she absolutely loves it. It worked right out of the box, we plugged it into the wall and we were up and running. We bought an additional microphone for it since it has two jacks for mics. It does come with one disc, but you can purchase more, we put some of her favorite cds in there and just sung along. It also has blue tooth capabilities so you can hook it up to your computer, tablet, tv, etc. YouTube has a plethora of karaoke songs (so for ex you would search "Katy Perry Roar Karaoke) that you can look up on your device and the sound will blast through these speakers and you would be able to read the lyrics on your computer, etc. The sound quality is actually better than I expected and the lights are an additional bonus. We love the purchase thus far.
Can you hear me now? No!

Glad I am testing this thing out before Christmas. There is no way to hear the voice from the microphone. As a former audio engineer, I have a pretty good knowledge of how to turn knobs for volume control and hook up a mic. If one person puts their mouth on the mic while singing and the other puts an ear right up to the speaker, you can faintly hear that something is coming from the mic. What a piece of junk. Hope Amazon will give me a full refund.
It works! And its only $35!

Bought for a Christmas present. Great price on a toy for the kids. I tested it out and it works just fine. Bought the extra Mic. The machine has 2 mic holders on the sides. It's a toy....not a professional machine. You get what you pay for IMO. But this will provide hours of entertainment for the kids and adults. Don't expect the same quality as machines that cost over $100. It's worth $35 IMO
Not worth the money

Didn't last 6 months was a Christmas present. Their warranty is only for 90 days. Wish I had known before I purchased this product it just tells me the company doesn't believe in their product either if they won't at least warranty their product for a year. Machine quit taking on power.
