Price was really good, but not very fresh coffee (pretty stake, actually). When I opened the first bag, there was almost zero aroma of coffee, and I had to take a second look to see if there was even "coffee" in the bag (but, this is pretty typical of any store-bought Starbucks too--there's never a freshness date to know how old it is). Hard to find really great Columbia coffee though -- The Starbucks Columbia (Starbucks Colombia Medium Roast Ground Coffee, 12-Ounce Bag (Pack of 6)) coffee was always much fresher/better when it was owned by Diedrichs Coffee. The freshness thing is probably more of an issue of Starbucks trying to roast coffee for the entire world every day, then sitting it all in some old stale warehouse for who knows how long, so I don't really fault this supplier much.

The coffee is lovely, but I am becoming very frustrated by the fact that more often than not the Starbucks star codes are invalid as they have been previously used. I enjoy redeeming the codes and redeeming them for free treats at Starbucks retail establishments but lately that has not been possible. I don't know what's up, but this is my third purchase with only 2 out of the 6 bags having valid star codes.

For anyone like myself who loved Gold Coast in the past Morning Joe is simply it's new name. Strong and tasty, it's been the flavor my wife and I have enjoyed for over 10 years. Not sure why the name change. But after a bit of confusion which included neither our stores close by or the online constomer reps knowing what had happened to Gold Coast I happened to spot the Previously Gold Coast now Morning Joe clearly stated on the Morning Joe's bags. Thank goodness. Love the stuff.

I buy Starbucks Sumatra Coffee all the time from my local retailers and it is wonderful, has a wonderful aroma when you open the package and full bodied fantastic flavor, this coffee I ordered however is not. I don't know if it's not fresh or not really Starbucks coffee??? But it does not taste or smell like Starbucks Sumatra.

The quality of Starbucks coffee stands on its own, so I am leaving a 5-star review for the price of these 6 bags, which is far cheaper than purchasing at the local grocery store, or even at Costco. If memory serves, the latter only sells the SBUX French Roast, so Espresso Roast isn't even available. I use these in my at-home espresso maker and the coffee always turns out great. Side note: always use purified water (via a Britta filter or similar) for best results.
