Work Amazing and helps keep milk fresh longer!
Krocc✓ Verified Purchase•July 25, 2023
When i got these I immediately loved how they looked and how they felt in my hand. The caps snap on very well and they do not leak. I have tested them thoroughly. Even had one cap have the bottom portion break off that you would typically see on caps to show that the "seal has been broken" and even with that part missing the lid still holds on tight and is leak proof. I'm able to spread my milk into multiple glass containers now not exposing those bottles to the room temps and constant opening like you would with a full gallon container, thus keeping those portions fresh for longer. Would recommend to any milk drinker who regularly buys a gallon of milk!
Beautiful glass jars

These are easy to hold and I have really small hands. They are beautiful.
The same bottle dairies use, just without the branding

I've been using this for a few years to store various things, mostly RO water I get from a supplier.
They used to come with a plastic pour spout, now they come with a silicone one (which I got separately). I don't really use the pour spout as the flow is too slow for my uses, but I suspect it would work really well if you use this primarily for coffee.
It also comes packed pretty well, and the seller includes a little note card just in case it breaks with instruction on how to get a new one replaced ASAP.
If you've seen glass milk in some supermarkets (whole foods usually has them) this is the same bottle, from the same actual manufacturer (stanpac), but lacks any kind of logos or branding. This one also comes with a white cap instead of a colored one, and a nice handle for controlling pours a bit better. The cost is much higher than a bottle deposit but if you can't find a bottle with the handle - or a bottle at all - in person, or if you just want to avoid the logos (as stanpac has had some controversy with their inks containing heavy metals in the past) then go for it.

Childhood memories!

When I was a kid in the 90's my family had daily milk delivery from Rosenbergers Dairy in the suburban Philadelphia area. I remember placing the identical empty bottles into the milk box on the porch for my Mom and grabbing the ice cold replacements the next day. Now that I live in rural Missouri I found a neighbor who is selling raw whole milk and I couldn't resist. She sells it in gallon and half gallon mason jars that are a real pain to pour from. Found these bottles and bought a funnel to transfer and they work perfectly. We loved them so much that we ordered another 2 so that we can always have a fresh set of bottle to fill while the others are washing and sanitizing. My only complaint is that my toddler loves to grab the covers off the silicone pour caps (which are awesome for my older kids to pour without making a mess) and has lost one of them. Can't find anything to replace it with so I'm one cap down. We just bought some of the land around our house and are considering raising our own dairy cow and using these bottles to sell milk in as well.
Great for iced tea
CatLady✓ Verified Purchase•June 21, 2023
I was reusing gallon milk jugs to make iced tea, but concerned about heating the plastic and also they would get funky after a while. I looked for a while for a glass jug that was the same shape, but all I could find was ones with huge bottoms that would take up too much fridge door space and be too heavy. This pair has solved all of that. They're light and easy to grip and they fit in the door no problem.
They come with two different types of lids. I thought both would be silicone but only the spout one is; the other is hard plastic. I don't use the spout as it's a little awkward, but do I use that lid because the other one doesn't come off as easily when you want it too.
If using for hot tea, be sure to wait for it to cool before putting it in the fridge and don't put hot liquid in it while it's still cold from the fridge. I haven't had anything happen but I know glass doesn't like big temperature swings. Well worth taking these precautions to keep them in good shape.
