Nice 1/2 gallon size glass containers

The order came with 2 nice, thicker glass, 1/2 gallon size glass containers, 4 reusable flexible plastic seals (tested), 2 reusable silicone pour spouts, and both containers came with sturdy carry handles installed.
These remind me of the "old school" glass milk containers. The glass is also molded to provide a slip proof way to handle the containers. The containers are a good size to fit into a typical refrigerator door to keep beverages like tea, juices, water, and lemonade chilled.
Since the containers are sealable I will be using them to store consumable distilled water which I will mainly use for making coffee after I have added the good trace minerals back into the water. With the glass containers I do not have to worry about BPA's or plastic taste leaching into the pure water with these glass containers.

I've been using this for a few years to store various things, mostly RO water I get from a supplier.
They used to come with a plastic pour spout, now they come with a silicone one (which I got separately). I don't really use the pour spout as the flow is too slow for my uses, but I suspect it would work really well if you use this primarily for coffee.
It also comes packed pretty well, and the seller includes a little note card just in case it breaks with instruction on how to get a new one replaced ASAP.
If you've seen glass milk in some supermarkets (whole foods usually has them) this is the same bottle, from the same actual manufacturer (stanpac), but lacks any kind of logos or branding. This one also comes with a white cap instead of a colored one, and a nice handle for controlling pours a bit better. The cost is much higher than a bottle deposit but if you can't find a bottle with the handle - or a bottle at all - in person, or if you just want to avoid the logos (as stanpac has had some controversy with their inks containing heavy metals in the past) then go for it.

Very pleased with these! Finally I can dump my cheap plastic storage bottles, which always smelled a bit because they were impossible to clean completely and didn't really protect my dairy products and juices much better than their original plasticized paper cartons. These are so much better than I expected -- just like the milk bottles of my childhood! They can be sterilized with HOT water, they keep odors out better, and, being glass, they hold my products at a colder temperature, which extends their freshness. Their squared shape makes best use of space in my fridge. One small caveat: the substantial weight of these bottles may be an issue for some, but that was exactly what I was seeking -- less chance of breakage. The silicone stoppers make for neat pouring of small amounts, but these also come with eight snug screw-on lids. They arrived safely packed and double-boxed. A+ all around!
