Incredibly accurate. Perfect for sous vide. LED screen seems a little flimsy and the probe is a little difficult to open and close, but this is SO much better than my last Weber thermometer

Easy to use; quick reading. I did the recommended test with ice water where it registered 32.4°F, within the documented range of .5°F off exactly 32°F. Then I stuck it in my mouth where it registered a perfect 98.4°F.

I bought two of these thermometers less than a year ago. One for a gift and one to replace our thermapen that also quite working in less than a year. We cook a lot and these tools get use daily, but we are careful not to get the electronic portion of the device wet. It seems like the folding temperature probes cause a short or malfunction over time, and then they just quite working all together. I guess I expected to get more use out of this necessary kitchen device.. I am now shopping for a more reliable option!

Used this for a few months now. Good FAST readings... with a long probe. Its competition is the Thermoworks ... I haven't used the Thermo.. but I can't imagine its TWICE as good as this one. Cause the Thermo cost is double. So... up to you.
