I was highly impressed with this mat. After purchasing nearly a dozen mats locally, I was at a loss trying to find one that would work as I needed.
This material has the perfect feel, does NOT slip, slide or move once you place it down. The size was perfect and it did NOT have the nasty plastic smell you normally find in shower accessories.
And it feels great on your feet. Perfectly smooth without the bumps you normally feel with mats with those little suction cups underneath.
I am purchasing a few extras as back-ups since mats this good are so hard to find.

I've only had the bathmat for about a week now but I really like it. It seem thicker than the one I had previously (a different brand), which didn't even last 6 months. I like how the Gorilla Grip mat isn't one solid piece, it's textured in a diamond pattern so water can flow through it. It suctions well to the tub/shower floor and pulls up easily. But, grips very well. I'm hoping I don't have to use the lifetime warranty but it's nice to know it's there if I do.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this matter and by how well it works. I bought it to bathe our 9 month old, who just transitioned from her baby tub to the big tub. It adheres easily, stays in place, and has the perfect amount of cushioning. I choose to pull it up after bath time to dry. It did have a "plasticy" scent upon arrival, but it is plastic which, bpa free or not, is a synthetic material. I strive to limit synthetic material, but I also understand that in some cases (like this one) they serve the purpose well.

This is the best bath mat ever~! My husband is kind frail and shower shy because of that, but this has him back in the shower (thank you!). He doesn't have to worry about slipping or the whole mat slipping like many do! I feel confident that he won't fall in the shower as he has in the past a few times. It makes me feel secure in the shower, too! I'm really happy we got this rather than stickers. I am able to just throw it in our HE washer once a week. I really like this slip resistant shower mat because it has openings to let the water drain thru the mat and into the drain instead of a solid mat that traps the water under the mat and can cause rapid mildew if not lifted and cleaned after each use. With this mat you can simply pour a bit of bleach water over the mat without having to raise it up off the tubs bottom. Although you should still of course clean your entire tub as needed but this mat makes it so much easier to give your tub a quick bleach water rinse in between cleanings.
