Concept of this mount is great. It was exactly what I needed for a narrow "table top" since my TV came with legs out on the ends. My reason for the low rating was that the threaded holes for the feet were full of paint/power coatings used on the product. My first attempt stripped the soft metal screws provided. I had to go to my garage and find some metric automotive screws that had slots cut designed to clean out the holes as they go in. I also had to soak the holes with lacquer thinner to soften up the coating in the threads. Other option was to buy metric tap the correct size.
If it was not for this serious manufacturing flaw, it would have gotten all 5 stars.

Works, but not the best out there

It works, not the best stand. But it does work. To start off with, the tools it comes with are total crap. Alley Key stripped and the little wrench just bent. If you don't have your own tools, you are going to have problems.
Once it was assembled, it is not square. Had to bend the feet, so both were flush and touching the counter.
Now the good part - They give you a VERY good selection of bolts, washers, and spacers. No problem finding the right mounting hardware.
The old saying. "Jake of all. Master of none" I can see were this stand will fit just about 100% of TVs out there. However, don't expect a custom fit or finish.

With this product, you definitely get what you pay for. I purchased these shelves for my living room to mount under my tv, which is mounted about 3' from the floor. They intention was to place on the three shelves: the center channel speaker for my 5.1 system; my PS4 (slim model), and my nephew's XBOX 360. While these shelves are technically the perfect size to fit a PS4 or XBOX, this assumes your system doesn't have any wires sticking out of the back, which they obviously do. My PS4 slim when plugged in hangs about 2" off of the front ledge, and the XBOX 360 had to be placed on the floor because it will not breathe properly resting on the vent (the built in legs for the system are off the ledge of the shelf so the system rests on the vent). The issue is that the shelves are an inch or less from the wall, so there is not sufficient room for the HDMI cord or power cable to stick out behind the unit, forcing placement off the shelf. I can't recommend this shelving unit for game systems, DVD/Blu-ray players, or audio receivers unless you are planning to store them on display without plugging them in for whatever reason. I will need to replace mine when I get the chance.

Mount-It! Universal TV Stand Base Tabletop VESA Pedestal Mount for LCD/LED/OLED 4K Televisions Fits 32 37 40 42 47 50 52 55 60 TVs, 110 Lb Capacity (MI-849)
Very very nice, holds tv very sturdy, in fact these are stronger than the original ones that came with our other tv, that one shakes so bad when the cats jump on the table that it almost gives me heart failure, now with these legs the cats could jump on the tv or have a war around the tv and it wouldn't move at all, I made a great buy with these legs, I would say that I would buy these again, but I think they will outlast the tv.

I like this fairly easy solution to lost TV bases

I installed this on a 26" Samsung Flat Screen TV. It came off a wall mount and the base was lost. I think the steel is very heavy duty, sturdy and not cheap looking. The directions were sparse with mostly diagrams. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble and attach. I ended up only using the thinnest machine bolts supplied as this was a small tv. I used four spacers, one for each bolt, as the bottom of the back of the samsung bulged out, I suppose to accomadate the factory stand. Basically you attach the feet to the threaded bases, with 4 bolts. Then you attach the extensions to the assembly with 4 bolts and 4 nuts. Many holes give you a choice of height.
The extensions bolt to 4 threaded holes in the back of the TV. Due to the small screen size, alot of the extension showed above the TV. If fussy you can hacksaw them down to size, I did not. Nice black paint finish. I would recommend, have seen them as high as $46.00.
