I wonder if I got a large and if it is even new. item looks more like it was made for a kid. I measured my hand and wrist as per the pic on the store page and ordered the large/x-large and it doesn't fit properly. my mother tried it on and couldn't even wear it. package was crammed in mailbox by post office. packaging had holes in it. box with item in it was opened. box doesn't want to stay in proper form. no tape over it to keep box closed. will be returning the item. highly unsatisfied with the product, packaging. a better job must be done

My second wrist brace by Ace, they both fit perfectly for my hand and offer good stability support. This one was comfy and easy to put on. But I'm unsure about the waterproof/odorless feature it advertises because my other Ace smells really bad thus the one less star but I still find this to be the best for my ganglion cyst.

This brace was surprisingly durable - stiff enough that if you force any twist/movement against brace, it will hurt and leave a rash. I haven't washed it yet but the material resembles something between rubber and foam. I could use this for the working day (>6 hours) and wipe down any marks with soap and water. Caution though, like the other reviews, the velcro strip looks and feels fairly cheap.
In the event it fails at some point, I'll probably buy some stronger velcro strips to replace it.

Decent for healthcare workers

I have carpal tunnel and work in an OR so wearing a fabric brace is not an option. This brace is what I wear to work. The rubber is comfortable once it conforms and I can wash my hands and use an alcohol scrub on the brace to kill bacteria. Only issues I have are I have to pad the bony prominence of my wrist under the brace or it will start hurting from the continuous pressure of the rubber. This has subsided though the more I have worn the brace. Also the Velcro tab has not held up well. It is fraying and the sides fold upward causing it not to hold the brace closed very well. I use a medical tape over the Velcro to help hold it closed. It is an affordable alternative to a custom made brace though and the only brace on the market that I can find that is not made of bacteria loving fabric.

I was an inch away from the end measurements on the small so should have been fine, but was way too small. Gave to someone else with small wrists, 5.5-6 inch wrist, and it was still too small. Small is a child's size.
